Peer Mediation Training

Peer Mediation

Peer mediation is a non-judgmental, non-blaming, and cooperative process of grade level peers working out differences constructively with the help of a peer level mediator, a neutral third party.

Kids who practice skills in being a peer mediator develop people skills, leadership potential, repsect from and for others, crisp verbal skills, excellent listening skills, and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and neutrality.
When friends enter into conflict and can't figure out a solution on their own, a peer mediator acts as the third party to help them talk it out and come to a win/win solution.

Students enrolled in the PEACE AMBASSADORS CRASH COURSE will learn and practice the skills needed to be a Peer Mediator in one short week, and the skills will last a lifetime.
